2023 Seattle Home Show
Sound Painting Solutions was one of the exhibitors at the Seattle Home & Garden Show this year. This was our first time being a part of the event. The event is the Northwest’s largest consumer home show attracting around 50,000 to 60,000 visitors. The show presents hundreds of exhibits including builders, remodelers, the latest appliances and fixtures, decorating, landscaping, and much more!
The show took place from February 25th to March 5th at the Lumen Field Event Center in downtown Seattle. Ticket prices ranged from $15 for adults to free for young children. Similar timing and prices can likely be expected for future home shows. In a typical year, the show takes place in both the Spring and the Fall, though for 2023, you’ll have to wait until next Spring, as there is unfortunately no Fall show this year.

Booth Design
Having procured a 10 x 10 booth, we wanted to have an attractively designed back wall and two side walls to showcase a live model of some of the services we offer. One of our carpenters crafted each wall with drywall, wainscoting, crown molding trim, and shelving. He even made it a folding design on wheels for easy transport. We also had a few cabinet samples on display to showcase the various finishes available for painted cabinets. The drywall was painted to showcase two Sherwin-Williams colors. Our goal was to make our booth stand out and attract as many visitors as possible. Check out some photos of the building process!
Giveaway and Flyers
During the home show, we offered a giveaway of a free paint job valued up to $1,000 (congrats to our winner!). We also offered promotional discounts for our booth visitors. We had a great time talking with homeowners about their upcoming projects, while giving them the chance to enter the giveaway. Throughout the nine day home show, we had countless visitors from homeowners to fellow home improvement professionals.
The Seattle Home Show is a wonderful opportunity for homeowners to discover prospective home improvement contractors in the community, get to ask contractors questions face-to-face, and even see live examples of the possibilities for their home. Whenever we weren’t working at our booth, we enjoyed perusing the aisles and experiencing everything from tiny homes, to hot tubs, to massage chairs! As a painting company, it was fantastic opportunity to showcase our services and connect with potential clients all over the Seattle area.
We look forward to participating in future home shows, as this was an enjoyable experience. Thanks for reading, and please reach out if you have any upcoming painting or carpentry projects we can help with!
