Seattle Exterior Painting Video
In our latest video, we take you through one of our most recent exterior painting projects, showcasing the transformation from start to finish. This particular undertaking involved a comprehensive repaint, where we not only rejuvenated the existing surfaces but also took on the challenge of painting new wood siding and stripping/re-staining wood areas beneath the roof.
Our client had a green home that hadn’t seen a fresh coat of paint in quite some time, and they were ready for a drastic change. When they presented us with the vibrant blue hue they envisioned, we immediately recognized the potential for a truly remarkable transformation. The magnitude of this project required extensive wood treatment, making the preparation phase a critical component of the process.
To ensure a pristine canvas for our paintwork, we initiated the prep work by employing a thorough pressure washing technique. Subsequently, we used a heat gun to meticulously remove the old varnish. This was a crucial step for achieving a smooth and even surface. The process continued with the application of a stripping agent to remove the previous stain. This set the stage for the introduction of the new stain that would bring the entire exterior to life.
The dedication to detail and craftsmanship in treating the wood surfaces was evident as we lovingly applied the new stain. With the woodwork perfected, our attention shifted to painting the sides of the home and the trim.
